At Vertical Editions we were saddened to learn that former Arsenal, Barry Town and Cardiff City footballer Derek Tapscott died yesterday. We worked with Derek and his co-author Terry Grandin on his fascinating autobiography Tappy. Derek was a thoroughly nice guy and he and his wife, Glenys, always made us feel welcome when we called.

Derek will be sadly missed and our thoughts go out to his family.
